About me

My story

I've always loved drawing. From an early age, I was a big fan of cartoons and spent my time reproducing my favorite heroes. This passion for drawing has never left me.

In 2002, I discovered graffiti, which quickly became my new obsession. Instead of spending my time studying at university, I spent my days perfecting my technique on industrial wastelands.

In 2006, the vagaries of life led me to move to Argentina, where I devoted myself fully to painting and illustration. It was then that I began my career as a painter, exhibiting my work in galleries and museums across the country.

Returning to France in 2016, I chose to settle in Toulouse, where I began a series of paintings that were particularly close to my heart, tackling the subject of the 7th Continent, that expanse of plastic floating on the oceans. Right from the start, I felt a dissonance between the materials I was using and the message I wanted to convey. This prompted me to completely rethink my approach to painting, making my own artistic mediums.

In 2024, I decided to get a little closer to nature and create my own tinctorial plant garden. I chose to settle in Châtel-Montagne, a village near Vichy.

my artistic approach

Drawing has always been an unwavering passion for me. Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by pop culture and cartoons, and it's from these that I draw much of my inspiration. My work is a personal interpretation of this universe, blending realism with subtle distortions to offer a fresh take on familiar icons.

But my art is not limited to the lightness of pop culture. I'm also committed to tackling more serious and committed subjects. Police violence, the climate crisis, social issues - these are all themes I explore with a mix of humor and gravity. My aim is to provoke reflection in the viewer, while offering an emotionally rich artistic experience.

My artistic style is resolutely realistic. Since 2018, I've also become aware of the importance of reducing my environmental footprint. As such, I have undertaken to make my own paints, exploring less contaminating techniques such as egg paint or watercolors that I make myself. This approach reflects my desire for coherence between my artistic practice and my personal convictions.

In short, through my artistic work, I invite you to discover a world where pop culture familiarity blends with reflection on contemporary issues, all in a realistic and committed style.
